Rose was born June 24, 1925 to Albert and Minnie Biermann in Glencoe, Minnesota. She was united in marriage to Martin Kroeger in 1945 in Long Beach, California, as Martin was in the Navy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin; and sons, David and Douglas.

A funeral and celebration of life will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Mankato at 10:30 a.m., June 29, 2019. A light lunch will be served after the service.
