Thomas Thompson

Thomas Norman Thompson, age 84, of Mankato, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Oaklawn Rehabilitation Center.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 21, 2019 at Hosanna Lutheran Church, Mankato with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Mankato Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.

Tom was born June 11, 1934 to Ted and Agnes (Mondahl) Thompson in Frost, Minnesota. He graduated from Frost High School in 1952.On September 15, 1956, Thomas married Myrna Dobson in Blue Earth. He served in the US Army in Korea during the Korean War. In his free time, Tom enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Tom is survived by his wife of 62 years, Myrna Thompson; children, Joni Anderson, Todd (Michelle) Thompson, Lisa (David) Horn; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister and four brothers. He is preceded in death by his parents, and one sister.
