Ofelia "Ofie" Waters

Ofelia Waters, age 59, of Mankato, died Saturday, January 12, 2019 at her home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 16 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the church.  Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.  Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Ofelia was born on May 15, 1959 in Weslaco, TX to Bernardo and Olivia (Balderas) Segura.  On June 19, 1999 Ofelia was united in marriage to Kevin Waters.  She enjoyed cooking, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren. 

Ofelia is survived by her husband, Kevin; son, Robert (Laurie) Cancino; grandchildren, Avery and Oliver; mother, Olivia Cuellar; sisters, Irma, Estella, Ida, and Tina; brothers, Bernardo Jr. and Rolando; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father and brothers, Raul and Ruben.
