Charlotte L. “Char” Mullin, age 85, of Mankato, died on Wednesday, January 2, 2018 at Ecumen Pathstone Living in Mankato.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Mankato. Interment will be at Woodland Hills Memorial Park in Mankato.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church on Monday.

Mankato Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.

Charlotte, the daughter of William and Louise (Prigge) Toohey, was born on June 22, 1933 in Fulda, MN. She graduated from Good Counsel Academy in 1951. Charlotte married Roy Mullin on October 6, 1956 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Mankato and he preceded her in death on January 7, 2005. Char was previously employed at Toohey’s Ice Cream Store in Mankato. She was a member of the American Legion Auxillary and the Catholic Daughters. She loved remembering family and friends through pictures and she treasured her time with family and friends.

Char is survived by her 4 children, Bill (Beth) Mullin of Mankato, Lisa (Les) Fleury of Bismarck, ND, Lori (Mark) Heinze of rural Madison Lake, and Amy (Mike) Vaubel of Faribault; eleven grandchildren, Justin (Carol) Fleury, Kristen Fleury (Amanda), Brandan (Laura), Kyle (Diana), and Joel Heinze, Alyssa (Scott) Andrzejeski, Joshua and Jacob Vaubel, and Zachary (Heather) Mullin, Abby and Hannah Mullin; seven great granddaughters; one great grandson; sister in law, Katie Busby of Delta, CO; nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy; two sisters and brothers in law, Bernie (Eddie) Bibbs and Monie (Jim) Haack.
