Rosemary Stam, age 72, of Mankato passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, December 31, 2018.

Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary with visitation one-hour prior. Burial will take place at 11:35 a.m., on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.

Rosemary was born August 1, 1946 to Marshall and Lulu (Remington) Stam of Faribault.

Rosemary moved to the Harry Meyering Center on May 31, 1983. She recently celebrated her 45-year anniversary at MRCI. In Rosemary’s pastime she enjoyed dancing to her oldies, looking at big rig books, and working on word finding books. Rosemary is well known for her paintings. She has won several awards at fairs and had her art work hung up at art centers.

Rosemary will be remembered by her family, housemates, friends, and caregivers from the Harry Meyering Center and MRCI.

Rosemary is survived by her brother Sam (Brenda) Stam of California. Rosemary is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Mary.
