Perry W. Brown

Perry W. Brown, age 72, of Mankato, died on Tuesday, December 11, 2018.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 17 at 11:00 a.m. at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary.  Visitation will be Monday from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Northview.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society.

Perry was born in November 1946 in New Ulm to Werner and Lorraine (Martinka) Brown.  He graduated from Loyola High School in 1964 and from South Dakota State University in 1969 with a degree in pharmacy.  On August 1, 1970, Perry was united in marriage to Jolene Hanson at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Mankato.  Perry was a pharmacist in Mankato for many years.  He also served as a reserve officer with the Mankato Police Department.  Perry enjoyed daily morning coffee with his friends and he also enjoyed traveling.  He especially loved his grandchildren. 

Perry is survived by his wife, Jolene “Jo”; son, Chris Brown (Kelly King-Ellison); daughter, Stacey (Brian) Martin; grandchildren, Roenen, Copelan, and Leah; sisters, Mary Lee (Ron) Beckman and Anna (Curtis) Koch; many brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
