Randy Lee Sandt, age 65, of Mapleton, died on Monday, December 10, 2018 at Oaklawn Rehabilitation Center in Mankato.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the American Legion Post 454, Kiester.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Mankato Mortuary, 1001 N. Riverfront Dr., Mankato.
Randy Lee, the son of Donald and Lois (Proctor) Sandt, was born on January 14, 1953 in Iowa. He graduated from Kiester High School. Randy was previously employed by Swift Eckrich of Wells and Golden Oval of Thompson, IA. He enjoyed bird watching, fishing, gardening, hunting, watching sports, and NASCAR. To all his family and friends, Randy was known at The Crow.
He is survived by his children, Adam Sandt of Kiester and Desiree Sandt of Mankato; two grandchildren, Elijah and Sydney Haugland; siblings, Mary Harmdierks of Truman, Jim Sandt of Kiester and Michael Sandt of Kiester; and the mother of his children, Shirley Sandt of Wells.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Rick Sandt.
