Leila V. Anderson

Leila V. Anderson, age 95, of North Mankato, died on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Monarch Meadows.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church, North Mankato.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.  Interment will be in Albion Lutheran Cemetery in St. James. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Memorials are preferred to VINE and Messiah Lutheran Church.

Leila was born on August 29, 1923 in St. James, MN to Thomas and Hilma (Strom) Hudson.  Leila was united in marriage to Armon Anderson and they had one son, Trent.  She was a longtime employee of JCPenney and retired in 1992.

Leila is survived by her son, Trent; grandchildren, Aaron Anderson, Corey Anderson, and Taunya Schwimmer; sisters, Arlene Hagen and Donna Schmidt; sister-in-law, Marilyn Hudson.   She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Richard Hudson; sister, Betty Knudson.
