Nancy Jane (Kozitza) Woodrum

Nancy Jane (Kozitza) Woodrum, age 74, of North Mankato, died Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at her home.

Visitation will be held from 4-7pm, Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Mankato Mortuary. A prayer service will begin at 7pm, led by Reverend Paul van de Crommert of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Nancy was born September 23, 1944 in Colorado Springs, CO to James Marshall and Eiliene Cata (Badgett) Woodrum and they were later divorced. Nancy was raised by her father and Madeline Marie Wandermeersch. Nancy graduated from St. Scholastica Academy in Canon City and attended Helen Kay School of Cosmetology. She married Ken Kozitza on June 27, 1964. They were blessed with two daughters and later divorced.

Nancy worked for many years in the service industry, including the Holiday House, Elks Club, and Westwood. Her hobbies included crafting, knitting, crocheting, sewing, painting, playing computer games, watching scary movies and Duck Dynasty, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Nancy will be deeply missed by her daughters, Tammy (Randy) Melvin of Mankato and Tina (Don) Willson of Cleveland; grandchildren, Heather, Ashlee, Brandon, Ciara, Chelsea, and Lance; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Travis, Elliot, and Tommy; siblings, Jim Wilson, Rosemary (Brent) McElroy, Jeanette (Dick) Kahle; brother-in-law, Jerry Fore; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Barb Fore; and ex-husband, Ken Kozitza.
