Robert “Bob” Allen Moses, age 78, of Mapleton, died Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.
Memorial service will be held at 12pm, Friday, November 9, 2018 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Good Thunder with visitation one hour prior. A reception will be held at church following the service, and burial will be at the Sterling Cemetery in Amboy. Olson-Tichenor Funeral Home in Mapleton is assisting the family with arrangements.
Bob was born September 12, 1940 in Mankato to Charles Henry and Edna Gertrude (Hampel) Moses. He graduated from Mapleton High School in 1958, where he was introduced to his high school sweetheart, Darlene Cramer. Bob and Darlene were united in marriage on September 17, 1961 at Redeemer Lutheran Church and were blessed with four children.
Bob was a hardworking dairy and crop farmer until he retired in 1998. He then worked for Spartech Plastic in Mankato for five years. He and Darlene enjoyed wintering in Texas for many years.
Bob is survived by his wife of 57 years, Darlene Moses of Mapleton; children, Kimberle (Mark) Bandini of Norwalk, CT, Brian (Sandra) Moses of Katy, TX, Jennifer (Carl) Lassahn of Mapleton, and Josephine (Gabriel) Roberts of Fort Worth, TX; ten grandchildren, Brittany Bandidi, Haley Moses, Eric Moses, Matthew Moses, Trevor Moses, Tanner (Tisa Decker) Lassahn, Dalton Lassahn, Jordan Lassahn, Caleb Roberts, and Vivian Roberts; two great-grandchildren, Chase and Harper Lassahn; brother, Michael (Susan) Moses of Chatfield; and sister-in-law, Pauline (Bill) Estep of Phoenix, AZ.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles Moses; and sister, Meredith Moses.
