Dolores Elaine Denn
Dolores Elaine (Tetzloff) Denn, age 86 of Mapleton, died Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Mapleton Community Home.
Services will be held at 10:30am, Monday, October 22, 2018 at St. John Lutheran Church in Mapleton with Reverend Jan Crissinger officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7pm, Sunday, October 21, 2018 at church and also one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Union Cemetery in Mapleton following the service. Olson-Tichenor Funeral Home in Mapleton is assisting the family with arrangements.
Dolores was born September 18, 1932 in Waseca, MN to Alfred and Malinda (Sandretzky) Tetzloff. She was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waseca and confirmed at ST. John’s Lutheran Church in Mapleton. She attended country school in Danville Township. Dolores was united in marriage to Loren Denn on August 1, 1953. She was also a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Mapleton. Her life was her family – raising her children and supporting her husband with the local well drilling and repair service.
Dolores is survived by her nine children, Steven (Joyce) Denn of Smith Mills, Richard Denn of Mapleton, Karen (Sig) Peterson of Franklin, TN, Gary Denn of Mapleton, Bruce (Lorry) Denn of Mapleton, Gloria (Mitch) Driscoll of Park Rapids, Barbara (Jim) Wede of Mapleton, Lori (Jeff) Bammert of Mapleton, and Patti (David) Karnick of Faribault; 22 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Loren Denn; parents, Alfred and Malinda Tetzloff; brother, Lowell Tetzloff; and daughters-in-law, Gloria Denn and Laura Denn.
