Beverly Ann Olson
Beverly Ann Olson, age 78, of North Mankato, died Friday, October 5, 2018 at Laurel’s Peak Rehabilitation Center in Mankato.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 8, 2018 at Northview ~ North Mankato Mortuary. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery in Mankato. Please share a memory of Beverly with her family at www.mankatomortuary.com.
Beverly was born August 13, 1940 in Emmons, MN to George W. and Helen (Bennett) Pasbrig. She was baptized at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Good Thunder and confirmed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in North Mankato. Bev graduated from Mankato High School in 1958. She was united in marriage to George W. Olson on February 22, 1958 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
Over the years, Beverly was a licensed day care provider in her home. On May 12, 1986, she began working in the housekeeping department at ISJ and later retired. Knitting was one of Beverly’s favorite hobbies, and she enjoyed donating homemade socks and hats to those in need.
She is survived by her husband of over 60 years, George, of North Mankato; daughter, Beth Kamatchus; grandchildren, Lee (Danielle) Olson, Sierra Kamatchus, and Emily Kamatchus.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; son, Brian Olson; infant daughter, Debbie; sister, LaDonna; and brother, Darrell.
