Franklin Quaday

Franklin Richard Quaday, age 63, of Janesville, died on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at his home.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at the Mankato Mortuary, 1001 N. Riverfront Dr., Mankato.

Franklin was born on April 20, 1955 to Carl and Mildred (Anderson) Quaday in Blue Earth. He grew up in Mankato and attended Mankato High School. Franklin was a mechanic for the family business, Quaday and Sons Used Cars. He enjoyed all things automotive - going to the races, riding ATVs, dirt track racing and he claimed to have the fastest car in Mankato.

He is survived by his children, Billy Quaday of Mankato, Andrew (Alicia) Quaday of Eagle Lake, and Danielle (Scott) Radermacher of St. Peter; granddaughters, Hannah and Quinn; siblings, Ailene Gray, Linda (Steve) Howk, Leon (Sandra) Quaday, Sue (Scott) Lohse, Duane (Jessica) Quaday, and Valerie (Ross) Richter; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Curtis Quaday; nephews, Chris and Eric; and niece, Mindy.
