Rosalia “Sally” Maloney, 100, died Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Oaklawn Health Care Center, Mankato.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 27, 2018 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Mankato. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Mankato. Mankato Mortuary is handling arrangements.

Sally was born January 20, 1918 in Mankato to John and Magdaline (Scharback) Maloney. Magdaline died when Sally was two months old and was raised by Aunt Marg and Uncle James Maloney on a farm in Decoria Township. Sally resided there for 83 years, until the death of her brother, Jerome in 2001, she then moved to the Primrose Retirement Community in Mankato.

She attended Ss. Peter and Paul school, was a lifelong member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, and a fifty year member of the Catholic Daughters. Sally was preceded in death by a sister, Marianne Daufenbach, and three brothers, Aloys, Jerome, and Joe Maloney all of Mankato.

Sally will be missed by her extended family, her Primrose family and many friends.
