Joanne Carol Juhlin
Joanne “Joey” Carol Juhlin, age 79 of North Mankato, MN passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Cottagewood Senior Community in Mankato, MN.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Crossview Covenant Church, 2000 Howard Dr. W., North Mankato, MN at 4:00 PM with visitation an hour before the service and food and fellowship to follow the service.
Joey was born April 4, 1939 in Blue Earth, MN to Frebert and Mavis (Olson) Prescher. She graduated from Mankato High School in 1957. On December 11, 1957, Joey married Don Juhlin in St. Peter, MN. Joey was a homemaker and loved spending time with and taking care of her family. She also loved collecting and reading books, gardening and traveling.
Joey is survived by her loving husband, Don Juhlin; children, Scott (Vicki) Juhlin of North Mankato, Sheila Flindt of Owatonna, Steve Juhlin of Mankato and Susan (Charlie Grausam) Schlosser of Eagle Lake; 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and also sisters, Shari Morris, Jackie (Curt) Halvorson, and Jane Nichols.
Joey was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael (Mike) Juhlin; and granddaughter, Melanie Flindt.
