Gregory Scott Peters Nielson

Gregory Scott Peters Nielson (Greg) passed away on August 27th, 2018 in Mankato, MN.

Greg was born April 7th, 1996 in Astoria, Oregon to Jennifer Peters and Robin Nielson. His siblings were Ashley Peters Nielson, Thomas Landgren, Echo Nielson, and Chance Nielson.

He attended Mankato West High School, Central High, and later worked at Big Gain.

Greg was most proud of being a father. His son was his world. Second to that, was Greg's family and friends. He spent most of his free time camping, being in the woods, road trips, and blasting music. He was a very happy and comical guy. Greg could always make you laugh, no matter how bad your day was. Wherever he was, people knew he was there. His smile and laugh were contagious followed by the best bear hugs in the world. To know him was to love him. Greg had the biggest heart and it led to him having his "extended family" of friends.

Greg is survived by; his son, Jorden Peters; mother, Jennifer Peters; father, Robin Nielson; grandmothers, Gloria Peters, Colleen McDougall, and Victoria Landgren; sisters, Ashley Peters and Echo Nielson; and brothers, Thomas Landgren, Nicholas Schreiner, and Chance Nielson.

He was preceded in death by step-father, Thomas Landgren; grandfathers, Gregory Peters, Papa John, Papa Jimmy, and Gary Landgren; grandmother, Zeldann Nielson; and many others.

A memorial service will take place Sunday, September 2nd 2018 at Morson-Ario on Riverfront Drive in Mankato at 4pm.
