Adeline Hansen, age 93 of Kasota, passed away at home surrounded by family on Saturday, August 4, 2018.

Funeral Service is 11:00 am Saturday, August 11, 2018, at First Presbyterian Church in Kasota with burial at Minneopa Cemetery. Visitation is 4:00–7:00 pm Friday at Northview~North Mankato Mortuary and also at the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Adeline Hazel was born September 1, 1924, in Lake Andes, South Dakota, to Michael and Fern (Cleveland) Connelly. She attended school in Garden City, Mapleton and then Mankato. Adeline was united in marriage to Lynn “Red” Hansen on June 16, 1945, in Mankato. As a homemaker and mother of 13 children, she also spent 33 years helping Red in the family’s iron and metal business. Adeline was an active longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church where she was chair of the Fellowship Committee.  Red and her also belonged to the Moose Lodge.  She enjoyed raising her children and having family gatherings. A master in the kitchen, she enjoyed baking and canning; but also loved sewing, going to craft shows with her daughters and attending activities for her grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Left to remember Adeline are her children: Phyllis (Tom) Maloney, Kathy Sondergaard, Marleen (August) Goettl, Karen Hruby, Brenda (Joe) Loeffler, Dennis Hansen, Ron (Kim) Hansen, Sherry (Bob) Lorentz and Connie (Bob) Ryan; son-in-law Ron Mulder; 29 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law Patricia Connelly; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lynn; sons: Bernie and Jerry; daughters: Lois Hansen and Sandy Mulder; grandsons: Kenny Hansen and Travis Hruby; 3 brothers: Donald, Jack and Jerry; 5 sisters: Lorraine, Lorene, Dorothy, Marguerite and Joanne; 6 sisters-in-law; 9 brothers-in-law; and several extended family.
