Dennis C. Haley, 78, of Mankato and formerly of Madison Lake, died on Monday, July 23, 2018 at the Oaklawn Rehabilitation Center, Mankato.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 27, at All Saints Catholic Church, Madison Lake, with Fr. Robert Schneider officiating. Visitation will be from 4 -7 p.m. Thursday at Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour before the service on Friday at the church. Interment will be in All Saints Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to All Saints Catholic Church.

Dennis was born August 7, 1939 to Dennis and Dorothy (Kopp) Haley in Mankato. He grew up in the Madison Lake/Cleveland area and graduated from Cleveland High School in 1957. He married Carol A. DeVlaeminck on October 8, 1960 at All Saints Catholic Church. Dennis was employed by Schwickerts Inc. for 32 years retiring as Plumbing Supervisor. He was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and a former member of the Madison Lake Fire Department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with his family. Dennis was an avid Viking and Twins fan, but his favorite hobby was spending time with his grandchildren.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Carol; six children, Karen (Merle) Wasko and their children, Haley (Tyler) Deike and Hannah (Alex) Klehr; Karla (Mike) Malone and their children, Bryce Haley, Sydney and Maddie Malone; Randy (Sandra) Haley and their children, Alyssa and Jacob; Ryan Haley and his children, Carter and Carson and their mother, Lori Haley; Krista Haley and special friend, Chris Evans and her son, Zachary Sproles all of Mankato; Nate (Lindsay) Haley and their children, Mason, Kallie, Jordyn, and Riley of Brooklyn Park; four great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Mary Haley, Sandy Haley, Ethel Haley, Richard Heitner, Gary DeVlaeminck, Deb (John) McQueen, Ann DeVlaeminck, Sue Schaub, Nancy (Duane) Johnson; many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Dennis was preceded in death by his three brothers, Donald, Harold, and Walter; sister, Leola Heitner; sister-in-law, Brenda DeVlaeminck; two brothers-in-law, Rick DeVlaeminck and Wally Schaub.
