Carol Ann Gordon

Carol Gordon, 75, of Mankato, died at home in the presence of her family following a battle with lung cancer. Carol was born in Newark, NJ to Austin and Anna Gordon of Nutley, NJ, where she spent most of her childhood before moving to Minnesota, where she graduated from St. Louis Park High School. She graduated from St. Cloud State College, where she studied art and history. She taught briefly before becoming a mother. She later worked at Hang Ups, at KEYC, and at the Mankato Free Press. Carol is survived by her sister, Nancy Pederson of Fairmont; her son, Mark Gordon of Newton, Massachusetts; and two grandchildren. A private service is planned.
