Susan Kay Salzle

Susan Kay Salzle, 67 of Madison Lake, died Monday, June 25, 2018 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.

Celebration of Susan’s Life will be held at 11:30am, Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Northview ~ North Mankato Mortuary with visitation one hour prior. Following a luncheon at Northview, graveside service will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Waterville. Please share a memory of Susan with her family at www.mankatomortuary.com.

Susan was born June 4, 1951 to John and Jean (Juberian) Salzle. She graduated from Waterville-Elysian High School in 1969 and worked as an accountant in Minneapolis for 40 years. In retirement, Susan enjoyed her home built in Madison Lake. She loved playing cards, cribbage, flower gardening and tending to the lawn, spending time with family and friends, and loving her adorable cocker spaniel, Lilly. We will miss her sweet personality, big heart, generosity, and wittiness. Our loss was Heaven’s gain.

Survivors include her mother, Jean Salzle of Madison Lake; sister, Becky Salzle of Madison Lake; brother, Brian (Sue) Salzle of Mankato; and nephews, Nick and Matthew Salzle of Mankato.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Salzle.

The family wishes to thank Father Schneider; the doctors and nurses at Mayo Clinic, especially Ryan Baldeo with palliative care; cousins, Patty and Nancy; and our wonderful neighbors. Your kindness and care for Susan will always be remembered.
