Deborah "Deb" Ann Hagel, age 52, of Mankato, died on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Saint Mary's Campus in Rochester surrounded by her family.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Northview – North Mankato Mortuary. Funeral service will be held at Hosanna Lutheran Church, Mankato on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Christian burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery, Mankato.

Born on September 8, 1965 in Mankato, Deb was the daughter of Wesley and Tammy (Roble) Truebenbach. She graduated from Faribault High School in 1984. Deb married John R. Hagel on September 21, 1984 in Faribault.  Together they grew their family and raised their two daughters, Jamie and Bailey in the Faribault area. John passed away suddenly of a heart attack on August 19, 2013. Deb moved to Mankato in fall 2017 to be closer to her family. She was employed at District One Hospital (Allina) in Faribault, MN as a Health Unit Coordinator for many years. Deb’s family was her pride and joy. She enjoyed spending as much time as possible with them.

Deb is lovingly remembered by; children, Jamie (Jake) Jaeger and Bailey (Josh) Sombke; grandson, August John Jaeger; parents, Wesley and Tammy Truebenbach; grandma, Gladys Truebenbach; sister, Kim Kunkel; nephews, Eric (Molly) Kunkel, Paul (Jodi) Kunkel, Damien Hagel, Adam (Elishia Cooper) Hagel, Gary Hagel, nieces, Cheri Tovar and Kim (Carl) Elliott; great-nephew, Cale Kunkel; step-mother-in-law, Jackie Hagel; brother-in-law, Edward (Charmaine) Hagel; special friend, Ben Jandro as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Hagel; father-in-law, Nilan Hagel Sr., mother-in-law, Jean Hagel, brothers-in-law, Nilan Hagel Jr., Louis Hagel, and Lyndon Kunkel.
