Judy Kay Corcoran, age 77 of Mankato, passed away Saturday from complications of Alzheimer’s disease at New Perspective in Mankato.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Mankato. Visitation will be from 5 – 7 p.m., Wednesday at Northview ~ North Mankato Mortuary 2060 North Commerce Drive and continue one hour before the service at the church on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Bethlehem Lutheran Church or Mayo Clinic Hospice.

Judith Kay Corcoran was born February 27, 1941 to Raymond and Mabel (Olson) Krause in Mankato. Judy graduated from Mankato High School in 1959. She was united in marriage to John Corcoran on May 6, 1961 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Mankato.  She was a homemaker for her family before she worked at Mankato Honda as a License Secretary.

Judy was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and a 20 + year member of the Caledonia Curling Club. Judy and John enjoyed traveling to Mexico, Hawaii, Japan, Puerto Rico, Cayman Island, the A B C islands, and many rides on the motorcycle and the Miata convertible. Judy also enjoyed scrapbooking, jewelry making, greeting cards, photo books, playing tennis, golf, curling, bike riding, parasailing and boating.

Judy is survived by her husband, John; daughter, Cristin (Ken) Robertson of Breckenridge; son, Jason (Tammy) Corcoran of North Mankato; grandchildren, Ava Corcoran 12, Cole Robertson 11, Ella Corcoran 9, Chloe Corcoran 5; sister, Rita (Carl) Schoenstedt of North Mankato; brothers-in-law, Dan (Mickey) Corcoran of Mankato, Dick (Shirley) Corcoran of Mankato; many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents.
