Nathan "Nate" A. Menne

Nathan A. Menne, age 30, of Madison Lake, passed away Friday, May 4, 2018.

A funeral service celebrating Nate’s life will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 11, 2018 at Belgrade Avenue United Methodist Church, North Mankato.  Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday at Northview – North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato and will continue one hour before service at the church on Friday.  Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Mankato. 

Nate was born December 27, 1987 to Steven E. and Lisa L. (Weber) Menne in Mankato.  He graduated from Mankato East High School in 2006, attended Minnesota State University, Mankato, and received an Associate’s Degree from Minneapolis Community & Technical College in 2013.   Nate worked for Skogen Mechanical as a plumber’s apprentice. 

Nate approached everything with passion.  He was a musician, most recently self-taught on keyboard and guitar.  He enjoyed working out and reading.  He shared enthusiasm in movies and movie scores with his brothers, and enjoyed time with family.  Above all, he cherished spending time with his two girls as they were the center of his world.

Nate is survived by his two daughters, Aubrey and Lyla; parents, Steve and Lisa; brothers, Nick (Tara) Menne, Mike (Katie) Menne, Paul (Mary) Menne, and Tim (Jamie) Menne; grandfather, Keith Weber; aunts and uncles, Paula (Richard) Nielsen, Scott (Steve Pivec) Menne, Keith (Teresa) Menne, Terry (Cathy) Weber, Todd (Ann) Weber; nieces and nephews, Samuel, Alexandra, Lauren, Andrew, Matthew, Noah, William, Elijah, Peter, Parker, Isaac, Oliver, and soon to be baby, Josephine; cousins, and extended family.

Nate was preceded in death by his grandparents, Patricia Weber, Eugene Menne, Beverly Menne Roy, Gordon Roy; aunt, Lisa M. Menne; cousin, Justin Weber; and beloved family pet, Maija.
