Patricia Ann Johnston, 29 of North Mankato, passed away April 12, 2018.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Mankato Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
Patti was born August 29, 1988 to Douglas and Rebecca Johnston in Mankato. She attended and graduated High School in Mankato. Patti was an artist and enjoyed drawing and sculpting. She was passionate about social justice issues and even traveled to Washington D.C. to rally at the United States Capitol. Most of all, Patti’s life revolved around her children whom she cared for very deeply. More than anything, Patti enjoyed being with her family and she will be greatly missed by many.
Patti is survived by her children, Matthew and Joey Johnston; fiancé, Derek Mason; mother, Rebecca (Brian Fishel) Zacharias; father, Douglas (Lisa Kerns) Johnston; siblings, Peter, Susan, and Melinda (Aaron Burzynski) Johnston; nephews, Trevor and Brayden; grandparents, Patricia and Lauren Johnston; as well as many other family members and loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Patricia and Dennis Birch.
