Donna J. Larson
Donna June Larson, 86 of Mankato, passed away April 9, 2018 at Laurels Peak Rehabilitation Center in Mankato.
A visitation for Donna will be held from 1-2 p.m., Friday, April 13, 2018 at Mankato Mortuary, 1001 North Riverfront Dr., in Mankato. Burial to follow at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Mankato.
Donna was born June 6, 1931 to Carl and Lennie (Wilson) Nielson in Butternut Valley Township, Minnesota. She attended school in Mankato. Together with Harold Larson, they raised 11 children. Donna retired from Like-Nu-Cleaners in North Mankato after 33 years. Following retirement, she helped at MRCI. In her free time, Donna enjoyed gardening, dancing, country music, and especially spending time with family.
Donna is survived by her children, Victoria Haugesag, Larry Larson, Debborah (Michael) Burgess, Michael (Carla Brant) Larson, Pamela Reichel, Donna (Larry Snyder) Larson, Jr., Sindey Larson, and Holly Larson; 53 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by Harold Larson; parents; daughter, Rebecca Coopman; two sons, James and Gerald Larson; grandchildren, Matthew Snyder and Jessica Kuhl; and son-in-law, Tony Schwichtenberg.
