Elizabeth "Betty Ann" A. Woltman

Elizabeth “Betty Ann” A. Woltman, 68, of Mankato, beloved wife of Stanley R. Woltman, was called home to be with the Lord on April 4, 2018.

A Celebration of Betty Ann’s Life will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 7, 2018, at Northview – North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., Friday at Northview and will continue one hour before service on Saturday.

Betty Ann was born on November 18, 1949, in Providence, Rhode Island, the daughter of Ernest and Elizabeth (Bloom) Manish. She grew up in Rhode Island where she met the love of her life, Stan. They were married on June 21, 1969, and were blessed to celebrate over 48 years of marriage. They made their home in Lake Crystal and the Owatonna areas where they raised their two sons, Michael and Lance. They have resided in Mankato for the past 20 years. Betty Ann was employed by Carlson Craft for over 15 years before her retirement. She enjoyed crafts, baking for her family, and yearly visits back east to walk along the ocean. However, to all those who knew her well, it was abundantly clear that her happiest times were spent enjoying her children and five grandchildren.

Betty Ann is survived by her husband, Stan; sons, Michael (Toni) Woltman of Stewartville, MN, Lance (Kari) Woltman of Owatonna; sister, Sharon (Rob) Ramer of Bedford, NH; brother, Fred (Valerie) Staples of Coventry, RI; the five joys of her life, her grandchildren, Danielle (Rachel) Brun, Derek, Taylor, Cade, and the shining addition of happiness for her this last year, granddaughter, Landry; nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Betty Ann was preceded in death by her parents.

She was loved by many and will be missed and kept alive in our memories forever as the wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt that she was.

Betty Ann’s family would like to express their appreciation and thanks to those who have helped her be brave through her journey the last 2 years, especially the Oncology staff at Mankato Clinic. Thank you also to the staff at Mayo Hospice, Mayo Clinic Health System - Mankato Hospital, and Pathstone Living.
