Eleanor Patricia Whitney
Eleanor "Pat" Whitney, 76, of Mapleton, MN passed away on Sunday April 1, 2018.
She was born on August 30, 1941 to William and Lillian Sharkey in Racine, WI. Pat married Richard Whitney on 3/25/61 and they had 5 children, Dave (Judy) Whitney, Lindy (Kim) Knewtson, Danny Whitney, Chuck (Donna) Whitney and Tracy (Jim) Nickels.
She worked as a CNA and retired from St. Joseph hospital. She was an avid Green Bay Packers, Chicago Cubs and wrestling fan. She enjoyed watching all sports, reading and spending time with family.
Pat is survived by her children, grandchildren Jordon (Jess) Whitney, Jacie (James) Bezy, Travis (Amber) Whitney, Kelcie
(Damon) Liberatore, Whitney (Jordan) Ziegler and Austin Nickels. Great grandchildren Kayla, Catera, Danti, Sylvia, Carson, Keating, Beckham and Wesley. Pat was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Beverly, Roger, Jimmy, Joann and Mary.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 13, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. at the Mapleton T&C Leisure Center.
