Melva Ione Huebner, age 88, of Mankato, died on Monday, March 26, 2018 at Pathstone Living.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 421 N 2nd St, Mankato, MN. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will be held at a future date. Memorials are preferred to Immanuel Lutheran Church. Mankato Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.

Melva was born on March 29, 1929 to Charles and Emma Reed in Mankato, MN. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards with her friends and spending time with her family.

Melva is survived by two sons, James Danberry and Richard (Rhonda) Danberry of Mankato; grandchildren, Brian (Molly) Danberry, Craig (Shar) Danberry, Michael (Krin) Danberry and Corey Danberry; 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Virgil Huebner; siblings, Willard Reed, Burnell “Bud” Reed, Dean Reed, Mavis Reed, Opal Reed and Pearl Klint; sisters-in-law, Renelda Reed and Audrey Reed; brother-in-law, Pat Klint.
