Robert "Bob" Buland

Robert “Bob” Buland, age 62, of Mapleton, died on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Mayo Clinic Health System, Mankato. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 24 at St. Teresa Catholic Church in Mapleton.  Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the church.  Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Mapleton.  Olson-Tichenor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Robert was born on October 30, 1955 in Fairmont to Lloyd and Margaret (Krueger) Buland.  He graduated from Fairmont High School.  Bob was united in marriage to Carmen Carey on September 25, 2004.  He worked at Corporate Graphics for many years.  Bob enjoyed fishing and relaxing in the outdoors.  He loved spending time with family and friends and his dog, Sailor. 

Bob is survived by his wife, Carmen; children, Ashley (Tony) Lueck, Alex (Erin) Gregor, Andrew Gregor (Mary Klocke), McKenna Buland, and Kiyana Buland; grandchildren, Addison and Austin Lueck and Emerson Gregor; and many extended family.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Charles.
