Jeanette M. Embacher, age 77 of Mankato passed way Saturday, February 24, 2018.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial with be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Clair. Visitation is from 4:00 p.m. until the 5:00 p.m. service on Friday at the church. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Jeanette was born March 30, 1940 to Eldon “Dutch” and Marie (Schiferl) Wolfrum in Stratton, CO. She graduated from Stratton High School. Jeanette was united in marriage to Vincent A. Embacher on January 10, 1959 in Stratton, CO. They moved to the Mankato area where she worked at Goldfines and later K-Mart. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in St. Clair.  Jeanette enjoyed sewing, camping, making the best homemade pizza, driving her golf cart and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

Jeanette is survived by her son, Mike (Michele Freeman) Embacher of Mankato; daughter, Missy (Scott) Smith of Hudson, WI; five grandchildren, Danielle (Corey) Podein, Jacob Embacher, Katey Embacher, Samson and Isabella Smith; three siblings, Daryl (Linda) Wolfrum, Larry Wolfrum, Ron (Kathy) Wolfrum; in-laws, Mary Ann Pongratz, Maxine (Mike) Griffin, Carl (Linda) Embacher, Richard (Irene) Embacher;  and  many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, husband Vincent, and two brothers, Don and Gary Wolfrum.
