Eric Jon Glemming, age 46, died unexpectedly January 30, 2018 at his residence in Pueblo, Colorado.
There will be a future celebration of Eric’s life shared with family and friends in Colorado and Florida. If so desired, memorials may be directed for the college education fund for his children by mailing them to Marvin Glemming in care of Mankato Mortuary or a donation made to the Culinary Arts School in Kansas City.
Eric was born January 6, 1972, in Fargo, North Dakota to Marvin and Elizabeth Jean (Owens) Glemming. During his youth, he lived in Tower City, North Dakota; Milton, Florida; and Plymouth, Minnesota. After several jobs and attending culinary school, he married Blythe Bradley in 2001. They made their home in Lawrence, Kansas, before moving to Milton, Florida, and then to Pueblo, Colorado. Eric attended St. Paul the Apostle Church in Pueblo West.
Eric loved his children and shared his passion of the outdoors with them by camping, tenting, and enjoying the nature surrounding them. While growing up, Eric and his brother Marc, shared in some fun escapades and they continued the fun filled adventures with brother, Dylan. Chef Eric provided warm meals to many while managing a soup kitchen at “Let’s Help” in Topeka, Kansas.
Eric is survived by his children, Ava Glemming, Owen Glemming, and Connor Glemming of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; mother, Elizabeth Jean Watson and her husband, Jerry of Milton, Florida; father, Marvin Glemming and his wife, Deborah of Hot Springs, South Dakota; brothers, Marc Glemming of Rogers, Minnesota; Dylan Glemming, serving in the US Navy currently stationed in Panama City, Florida; nephew, Colton Glemming and niece, Elizabeth Glemming both of Minnesota; in addition to many aunts, uncles, and other relatives.
