Frances Grace Pauley, age 93, of Madison Lake, died Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 15, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Marysburg with Reverend Christopher Shofner officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Mankato at a later date. In lieu of plants and flowers, memorials are preferred to the family, which will be used to create a memory garden. Frances was born December 15, 1924 in Spring Valley, MN to Thomas and Jessie (Hague) McKee. She graduated from high school in Spring Valley and attended Mankato Commercial College. On April 14, 1948, Frances was united in marriage to Elwood L. Pauley in Mankato, and they were blessed with two daughters. Frances was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Marysburg Women, and was a former Bluebird and Campfire Girls leader. She enjoyed flower gardening, reading, playing bridge, and traveling.
Those left to cherish her memories include her daughters, JoAnne (Larry) Sundem and Jean (Kurt) Pauley Witbeck; grandchildren, Melissa (Chad), Eric (Myra), Daniel, Luke (Jade), Matthew (Gretchen), and Krista; great-grandchildren, Anabelle, Lilly, Brodie, Gabbie, Norman, Annie Rose, and Fiona; sister-in-law, Marilyn (Bob) Small; and many nieces and nephews.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Jessie McKee; husband, Elwood Pauley; sisters, Elizabeth (Vince) Schwieger and Bonnie (John) Scherer; and sister-in-law, Sandra Pauley.
