Phyllis Dicks Putze passed away on December 19th at St. Benedictine Nursing Home in St. Peter, Minnesota at the age of 87.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 p.m., January 9, 2018 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Mankato with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Minneopa Cemetery.
Phyllis was born in Slurry, Transvaal, South Africa and was proud to become an American citizen. She modeled clothing and was a cutter for a designer. Phyllis was an expert seamstress. After raising a family, she studied and worked in real estate. She enjoyed painting, tennis and golf.
She is survived by a sister, Prudence (Vincent) Putze. She is also survived by children, Davina Cowlard, Elizabeth (Steve) McConkey, Carl (Laurie) Putze, John Putze, Kate (Edward) McMenomy, David Putze, and Laura Cambra. Beloved grandchildren, are John (Natalie) McConkey, Nancy (Jason) Rich, James (Janet F.) McConkey, Amanda Putze, Erica Putze, Kalley McMenomy, Karrie McMenomy and Ben McMenomy. Also, seven beloved great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by sisters, Davina Marshall, Matilda Honiball, and Alma Loubser.
