Virginia Harvey

Virginia “Jinx” Campbell Harvey, age 88, passed away on December 24, 2017 at Monarch Meadows, North Mankato.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Belgrade United Methodist Church in North Mankato, MN.    Visitation will be at 1:00.

Jinx was born September 12, 1929 in Rockford, IL and also lived in Cleveland, OH and New Rochelle, NY.  She was married to Thomas Harvey for 30 years and they raised 6 children in several different cities including Rockford, IL and Shawano, WI.  She worked as a bookkeeper in their oil company business.  She then moved to Green Bay, WI and worked at Fort Howard in customer service.  Once retired she lived in La Quinta, CA and Madison Lake, MN.   She loved socializing and being with her family at the lake in Waupaca, WI.  She volunteered and loved to travel, knit and read.

She is survived by six children, Don (Weece) Harvey of Mequon, WI;  Jack (Al Burgermeister) Harvey of Panama City, FL;  Linda (Jerry) Nantell of Indio, CA;  Scott (Toni) Harvey of Stillwater, MN; Kathy (Ray) Grant of Eagle Lake, MN and Rod (Lauren) Harvey, Willowbrook, IL.  She had 11 grandchildren;  Leah (Mike) Holster (children Ethan and Kaleb); Kane (Laura) Harvey (children Kj and Nahla); Jenna Thorson; Tara (Joe) Robl; Ross Grant; Luke Harvey; Kyle Grant; Nick Harvey; Carli Harvey; Campbell Harvey; and Lainey Harvey; a brother, Donald (Pat) Campbell and their children and families and a sister-in-law Ann Harvey.
