Ardella M. Price

Ardella M. Price, age 93, of Lake Crystal, died on Monday, November 27, 2017 at Laurel’s Edge in Mankato. 

Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 1 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Butternut.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church.  Burial will be at a later date at Our Saviour’s Cemetery in Butternut.  Lake Crystal Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the donor’s choice.

Ardella was born on May 26, 1924 in Blue Earth, MN to Ole and Nettie (Brewick) Espeland.  On March 10, 1947, Ardella was united in marriage to Tudor Price in Butternut.  They farmed together for many years.  Ardella was a longtime member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Butternut and was active with the ladies circle and the choir.  Ardella and Tudor enjoyed making lefsa every year and sharing it with many.  She loved flowers, gardening, and feeding the birds. 

Ardella is survived by her son, Dennis (Cheryl) Price of North Mankato; son-in-law, Rod Roberts of Lake Crystal; grandchildren, Tim (Terri) Price of Mankato, Jason (Renae) Price of Mapleton, Chris (Nikki) Roberts of Owatonna, and Corey (Cindy) Roberts of Marysville, WA; great-grandchildren, Sophie and Jaelynn Price, Elijah and Noah Roberts, and Jennifer Cross; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tudor; daughter, Denise Roberts; grandson, Jamey Price; and brothers and sisters.
