Steven Allen Schmahl, age 67 of North Mankato, died Thursday, November 23, 2017.

Memorial service 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Mankato Mortuary. Visitation one hour before the service on Thursday. Burial St. John’s Ev. Cemetery in St. Clair.

Steven A. Schmahl was born August 1, 1950 in Mankato to Irvin and Delma (O’Brien) Schmahl. He graduated from Wilson High School in Mankato. Steve was united in marriage to Debra Brands on December 31, 1995. Steve owned and operated Schmahl Carpentry. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed woodworking and collecting items.

Steve is survived by two children, Sonja (Scott) Kremer and David Schmahl all of North Mankato; three grandchildren, Selena, Brianna and Grace.

Preceded in death by his parents, son, Eric; wife, Debra and brother, Craig.
