Wendy Pearson

Wendy Pearson, 59 of Mankato, was welcomed home by her Lord and Savior on November 23, 2017 at Mayo Clinic Hospital, St. Marys Campus in Rochester.

Her memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Hilltop United Methodist Church in Mankato, with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. The burial will be at Mound Cemetery in Le Sueur.

Wendy was born August 22, 1958 to Lawrence and Alice (Rosenau) Wolfe in Waseca, Minnesota. She graduated from Waseca High School in 1976. She married Ron Kirklen in 1988 and they later divorced. In February of 2003, Wendy married the love of her life, Rick Pearson. Rick later passed away in 2011.

For most of her life, Wendy worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Mankato Hospital Chaplain. She was a member of Hilltop United Methodist Church and in her free time, Wendy enjoyed her flowers, interior decorating, reading, music, cooking, making salsa for family and friends, caring for her house and yard, and walking her dog, Eddie. Wendy loved her family and friends dearly and will be missed beyond words.

Wendy is survived by her siblings, Pam (Mark) Erickson of Mankato, Bruce Wolfe of Waseca, Lana (Ray) Glynn of Mankato, and Brian (Pam) Wolfe of Waseca; sister-in-law, Linda Pearson O’Malley of St. Peter; stepchildren, Daniel (Kayleigh) Pearson and Emily Pearson; special friend, Kirk Kloberdanz; her springer spaniel, Eddie; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rick; and father-in-law, Bud Pearson.
