Fay R. Fallenstein

Fay R. Fallenstein, age 83, of Mankato, died on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Pathstone Living due to complications of multiple myeloma.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.  Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour prior to the service at church.  Private family burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Fay is survived by her siblings, Tom, Jim, John, Judy McCabe, and Susan Roemer.  Waiting for Fay are her parents and siblings, DeEtt, Micky, Joan, Michael, Al, and Mark.  Fay was born the 3rd of 12 children to Clarence and Ruth (Miller) Fallenstein.  Fay grew up in lower North Mankato.  The day after graduation from Good Counsel Academy, Fay started working at Blethen Law Firm and continued working there until she retired at age 65.  She also had a small business, Cherished Possessions, conducting estate sales. 

Always an “up” person, Fay was kind and caring, and people loved her back.  She had a strong faith and was a life-long member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. 

Fay vacationed in Florida and while walking the beach she usually commented that where the water met the sky is what she thought eternity would look like.  We hope she is taking that walk now.
