Dominic Tortorella Sr., age 66, of Janesville, died Monday, October 30, 2017, at his home.
Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at Northview – North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., Monday at Northview and will continue one hour before the service on Tuesday. Memorials are preferred to his family.
Dominic was born June 20, 1951, in Ravenna, OH. He was a 1969 graduate of Ravenna High School. Dominic served his country in the U.S. Army Artillery from 1970-1976. He was united in marriage to Vicki Savick on April 2, 1977, in Ravenna. Dominic was employed as a salesman with Parker Hannifin for 40 years. He was a member and current Vice Commander of the North Mankato Post 518 American Legion, where he was active with the Color Guard. Dominic enjoyed playing drums for various bands, golfing, and woodworking.
Dominic is survived by his wife, Vicki; two sons, Dominic (Jordan) Tortorella Jr. of Farmington and Mario (girlfriend, Teri) Tortorella of North Mankato; two grandchildren, Dominic Tortorella III and Roman Tortorella; mother, Helen Tortorella of Kent, OH; brother, Tom (Debbie) Tortorella of Rootstown, OH; sister, Lori (Terry) Slattery of Kent, OH; also nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father.
