Delores Reuter

Delores Cecelia Reuter, 92 of Mankato, passed away October 23, 2017 at Ecumen Pathstone Living in Mankato.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Saint Clair. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., Friday, October 27, 2017 and one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial is at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Mankato Mortuary is assisting the family.

Delores was born on October 14, 1925 to Frank A. and Caroline (Baumgartner) Goettl. She graduated from Loyola High School in 1943. She married Karl E. Reuter on February 17, 1947.  Karl farmed in rural Mapleton where Delores raised their 7 children.

Delores was an active member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Saint Clair where she belonged to the prayer group, church choir, and the National Catholic Society of Foresters. In her free time, Delores enjoyed bridge club, baking and cooking, crocheting, and especially spending time with her family.

Delores is survived by her children, Gerald (Norma Jean) of Houston, Texas, Robert (Dianne) of Mankato, Carolyn (Steve) Russell of Lakeville, Minnesota, Margaret (Dale) Janke of Cass Lake, Minnesota, Karl George (Kelly) of Amboy, and Mary (John) Caven of Amboy; daughter-in-law, Holly Reuter of Mapleton; 23 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; siblings, Larry (Betty) Goettl, Barbara Slimmer, and Shirley Pestka; sisters-in-law, Jeanette and Kathy Goettl; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Karl in 1984; son, Daniel; grandson, David; brothers, Harold, Cyril, and Frank; sister-in-law, Lorraine; brothers-in-law, Bill Pestka and John Slimmer; and daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Reuter.

The family thanks all the caring hands at Ecumen Pathstone Living for the excellent care they gave Delores for the past 3 ½ years.
