Dan T. Kirchner

Dan T. Kirchner, age 61, passed away peacefully and with dignity surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Mayo Clinic Health System, Mankato.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 10 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary (2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato). 

Dan was born on September 4, 1956 in Fairmont, MN to Henry and Viola (Engler) Kirchner.  He graduated from Nicollet High School.  Dan enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family, especially his children and grandchildren.  He was a member of Sertoma, Toastmasters, Ducks Unlimited, and the Nicollet Conservation Club. 

Dan is survived by daughter, Samantha (Isaac) Travaille and her children, Keali Larson, Peyten Theis, Kadence Theis, and Zander Theis; daughter, Abbie (Ryan) Frank; his seven siblings; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Judy.  He was preceded in death by parents, Henry and Viola; brother, Michael; niece, Holly; and nephew, Jeffery.
