Jay Thomas Meixner-Lanz, age 25, of North Mankato, died on Sunday, October 1.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Northview and will continue one hour prior to the service. Following the service, Jay will take his last motorcycle ride with his best friend to his final resting place.
Jay was born on August 6, 1992 in Mankato to Patrick Meixner and Michele Lanz. He graduated from Nicollet High School in 2010. Jay had a passion for farming with his grandpa Harlan. He also worked at Kato Engineering. He was an avid outdoorsman, loved ice fishing, hunting and “up north”. Jay was a thrill seeker that enjoyed riding motorcycle, four wheeler, dirt bike, or anything that elevated his adrenaline.
Jay is survived by “the boys” Klutch and Piston; son, Cody Dahl; father, Pat Meixner; mother, Michele Lanz; brothers, Owen and Luke Warmington (father, Garrison Warmington); sister, Adyson Troldahl; grandparents, Tom and Vickie Meixner and Harlan and Joan Lanz; great-grandma, Lois Reynolds; aunts and uncles, Rob (Jackie) Meixner, Tony (Jeni) Meixner, Chad (April) Lanz, Nicole (Steve) Slechta, and Al Brewer; cousins, Elizabeth, Eric (cousin and best friend), Taylor, Hunter, Jolee, Addison, Olivia L., and Olivia M.; and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents.
