Alice N. Lindberg, age 92 of Mankato, died Friday, September 29, 2017 at Pathstone Living.

Funeral service 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Northview – North Mankato Mortuary. Burial will be held in Decoria Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:30 a.m. service at Northview. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Pathstone Living, Redeemer Lutheran Church, Mayo Clinic Hospice or donor’s choice.

Alice was born in Cardiff, Wales on July 31, 1925 to Annie (Tobin) and Stanley T. Elliott, the third child of eight. The family emigrated when she was a toddler to Canada and from there to the USA. She married Arthur Lindberg on April 8, 1943 in Minneapolis. After providing a memorable and fun upraising for their family, she and Art retired to a much dreamed home in the county. Having worked at various jobs, her last employment and most enjoyable was with Hallmark Cards. She was involved with Redeemer Lutheran Church in Decoria Township and enjoyed meeting new friends, bingo and creative writing at Pathstone.

Alice is survived by three daughters, Karen (Robert) Schull of Mapleton, Mello Lindberg of Evergreen, CO, Nancy (Paul) Seys of St. Clair; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters, Kathleen (Ivan) Fish of Wayzata, Jean (James) Davis of Rockford, IL and Bella (Lowell) Creel of St. Peter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, son, Steven; daughter, Barbara Anderson; four brothers, John, Grandville (Scotty), Frank and Keith Elliott.
