Rita Ann Kiffe
Rita Ann Kiffe, 85, of Good Thunder, Minnesota died September 7, 2017 at the Mayo Clinic Hospital in Mankato.
Memorial service will be Saturday, September 9 at 11 a.m. at Northview North Mankato Mortuary with a one hour visitation prior to the service, beginning at 10 a.m.
Rita was born on July 26, 1932 in Winona, Minnesota to Leo and Geneveva (Burbach) Monahan. She was married to John Hanson and she later married Joe Kiffe on March 22, 1975. Rita worked for C&S for many years, and eventually the Mankato School District where she worked until retirement. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Rita enjoyed needle point, wood working, traveling, and polka music.
Left to remember Rita is her husband, Joe; children, Darrell (Cindy) Hanson, Duane Hanson, Cindy Murray, Dave (Sharon) Hanson, and Sue Hanson; grandchildren, Micah, Larity, Thomas, Nick, Adam, and Kelsey; great-grandchildren, Trystan, Adley, and Lucien; siblings, Catharien (Don) Cummings, Raymond Monahan, Neil (Vicki) Monahan, Eugene (Barbara) Monahan; and many nieces and nephews. Rita was preceded in death by her parents; former husband, John; and sister-in-law, Jackie.
