Mary Breiter

Mary Louise Breiter, 71, of Mapleton, passed away at Laurels Peak in Mankato on Monday, August 28th, 2017.

Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 2, 2017 at St. Teresa Catholic Church in Mapleton. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., Friday, September 1, 2017 at the church and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the church. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Mapleton.

Mary was born on May 2, 1946, in New Ulm, Minnesota to Francis and Dorothy (Schweiss) Beck.  She was united in marriage to John Paul Breiter at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Madelia on February 13, 1965.

She is survived by her children, Deb (Doug) Hager, of Good Thunder, Steve (Peg) Breiter, of Mapleton, Duane (Judy) Breiter, of Long Prairie, Paul Breiter, of Mapleton, Karen (Jason) Langworthy, of Mapleton, Fran (Leigh) Breiter, of Osakis, and Kevin (Laura) Breiter, of Maple Grove. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; siblings, Anna Brackelsberg, of Madelia, Ruth Larson, of Mapleton, Tom (Debi) Beck, of Broomfield, CO, and Steve (Sheila) Beck, of Dayton, MN.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Anna; infant son; and brothers, Francis and Paul.
