Stephen "Steve" Mark Rorvig

Stephen Mark Rorvig, 64 of Madelia, died Monday August 14, 2017 in Mankato, MN.

A Celebration of Steve’s Life will be held at Madelia American Legion Post 19, in Madelia MN on Saturday August 26, 2017 from 2 to 5 pm.

Steve was born on July 13, 1953, in Madelia, MN to Robert and Ruth (Westphal) Rorvig. He graduated from Madelia High School in 1971. Steve married the love of his life Connie, on February 7, 1976.  Together they raised two sons, Tony and Matt. Steve got his Class A license in the spring of 1975, and has driven semi-truck ever since, until his 9-year battle with cancer made him unable to continue his passion for the open road.

He is survived by his wife, Connie (Wendinger) Rorvig; sons, Tony and his wife Candiss Rorvig, their children Devon and Harper and Matt and his wife Beth Rorvig, their children Dylan and Molly; sister, Sheryl and her wife Pam; brothers, Dan and his wife Kathy and David and his wife Becky; many cousins, nieces and nephews and an uncle and aunt.
