Robert “Bob” Edward Huber, age 81, of St. Clair, MN, died Monday, June 26, 2017, at Bridgewater Assisted Living in Janesville.
A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held at a later date. Mankato Mortuary handled the arrangements.
Bob was born April 13, 1936, in Nicollet, MN. He was the son of Edward and Mae (Tousley) Huber. Bob was a 1954 graduate of Loyola High School in Mankato. He was united in marriage to Joye D. Kalbow on February 17, 1955, in Mankato. Bob served in the National Guard from 1955 until 1962. He was employed with Dotson Iron Castings for 46 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, visiting their family cabin, and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
Bob is survived by his five sons, Anthony (Margaret) of Harviell, MO, William (Cheryl) of Pemberton, Timothy (Mary) of Eagle Lake, Richard (special friend, Sheryl Williams) of Mankato, and Terry of Thayer, MO; fifteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four sisters, Janice Risser of Danville, CA, Rita (David) Sanger of Appleton, WI, Rose (Ken) Beaulieu of Omaha, NE, and Marilyn “Micki” Huber of Burlington, WI; and also many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joye in 2015; and three sisters, Jeanne (John) Gudjonsson, Muriel Huber, and Dorothy (Bob) Jentges.
