Ruthann Vihstadt, age 72, of North Mankato, died Friday, June 16, 2017 at Laurels Peak in Mankato.

Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Northview ~ North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato. Visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m., Saturday. Family interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Mankato.

Ruthann was born September 8, 1944 to Harold and Bernice (Olson) Ramsborg in Windom, Minnesota. She graduated from Lakefield High School in 1962 and later the Mankato Beauty School. She was united in marriage to William M. Vihstadt on August 29, 1964 in Lakefield. Ruthann and her husband, William owned and operated A to Z Rental of Mankato from 1968 until the present. Ruthann was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Mankato and had volunteered for over 20 years at the hospital. She enjoyed working out at Curves, camping, traveling, especially to the Southwest and spending time sightseeing. She treasured spending time with her grandchildren.

Ruthann is survived by her husband, William of North Mankato; three children, Jim (Lisa) Vihstadt of Mankato, Karen (Brent) Moeller of Fairmont, Matthew (Corrie) Vihstadt of North Mankato; three grandchildren, Jordyn, Samantha, and Jacob; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Margaret Ann (Theodore) Warren of Enumclaw, WA; niece, Lynn Linville.

Ruthann was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Milton and Margaret Vihstadt; and nephew, David.
