Rita Loretta Wolfe, age 74, of Mankato, died Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at her home, with her loving family by her side.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 19, 2017, at All Saints Catholic Church in Madison Lake, with Rev. Robert Schneider officiating.  Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until the time of mass at the church.  Private family burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Mankato.  Mankato Mortuary handled the arrangements.

Rita was born August 4, 1942, in Mankato to Logan and Anastasia (Templin) Hager.  She was a 1960 graduate of St. Clair High School.  She was united in marriage to Theodore “Ted” Wolfe on August 29, 1961, in St. Clair.  Rita was a homemaker for her family and worked as a bookkeeper for various businesses.  She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church in Madison Lake.  Rita enjoyed gardening, cooking for her family, keeping an immaculate house, reading, and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Rita is survived by her loving husband, Ted of Mankato; three children, Juanita (Bill) Werner of Forest Lake, Tom (Shawna) Wolfe of Mankato, and Stephen (Cindy) Wolfe Sr. of Mankato; twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Thomas Hager of Mankato and Michael (Pat) Hager of Good Thunder; one sister, Diane Schweiss of Hector; also many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Kay Schweiss.
