Douglas Lee Tacheny, age 57, died unexpectedly, Tuesday June 6, 2017. He was born August 8, 1959, to Leon and Delores (Engel) Tacheny in Mankato. He graduated from Loyola High School in 1977 and later attended South Central College. He married Amy Wagner in November of 2002. They later divorced.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday June 14, 2017, at 11:00am at St. Peter and Paul’s Church, 105 North 5th St., Mankato, visitation beginning at 9:00am, two hours before the service at the church on Wednesday. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Doug is survived by his daughter, Taylor, father, Leon; sisters & brothers, Rhonda (Doug) Martinka, Robin (Sharon) Tacheny , Terry (Colleen) Tacheny, Karla (Mike) McAfee, Lisa Killian; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Delores, sisters, Mary Jo Tacheny and Lori Tacheny; grandparents Leo and Hyacinth Tacheny and William and Mary Engel.
